Concert Reviews: Festival Con Dios WOW!!! This concert was unbelievably awesome! I had so much fun. Mrs. Brumbaugh, my student council teacher, went with me, Trish, and Trish's dad. First we got there about an hour early, they opened the gates about a half hour before the concert was supposed to start (about 3P.M.). So we kind of browsed around. Oh my word, the cans of soda were $2 a piece! And most of the merchandise (however you spell it) was very greatly priced. Like $10 for a cd, $5 for a poster, and $15 for a t-shirt. Well, when I was in the big concert area, I was just talking and this guy walks past, he looks just like Ben Cissel from Audio Adrenaline (one of my favorite bands in the world). I say to Trish "Oh my gosh, that looks just like Ben for Audio A." Of course she turns around and looks, then she agrees that he does look like it, and he might be. Mrs. Brumbaugh is kind of stuck on the side and wondering. Well, me and Trish start daring each other to go over and ask if he really is Ben. Mrs. Brumbaugh keeps on telling us that we will regret not asking. We still are just daring each other. Mrs. Brumbaugh went over there and asked him because she is awesome! He was!!!!! So, we went over and met him, and we got a picture. We later found out that to meet the band, you had to buy a $40 fan club membership and then go backstage and meet. We were so lucky! The concert got going at about 3:30, which is really good. When nobody we particularly liked was oon, me and Trish went out and looked around. First I bought a Dr. Pepper, then I got Superchick to sign the can because I had nothing else for them to sign. I bought a Phat Chance cd and got the band to sign it (I won't go into detail, because it would take too long, but it was awesome! and Justin liked my t-shirt!)I eventually bought a poster for the whole concert, so $5 for everyone to sign, I would say it's a good deal. I got signatures from ILL Harmonics, Phat Chance, Superchick, The lead singer from Supertones, lead singer from Benjamin Gate, Bob Smiley,and I think that's all. I got a pic with Phat Chance. (sigh) I bought two t-shirts, one that says "I like switchfoot." and another one that says "Audio Adrenaline" about a hundred times in small print on the front, then it says "I get down, HE lifts me up" on the back. I bought a poster like I said before. I bought five cds, Bob Smiley (A Midsummer Night's Bob), Pax 217 (Two Sventeen), Switchfoot (A New Way to be Human), ILL Harmonics (thEP), and (sigh) Phat Chance (Without You). I bought a lot of stuff in other words. It was all so awesome! I cannot believe it happened! It was an A+++++++++++++++++++++(+1)!
